It will take more than exercise to get significant weight loss, however, there are ways to boost your metabolism with exercise to impact your weight loss positively.

By adding certain exercises into your day to day routine, you will be able to burn more calories even after you finish exercising. However, the right kind of exercise is important to make sure you boost your metabolism and you also increase muscle so that you can reduce your weight.

There are a number of different exercises that work well in boosting metabolism. This includes certain strength training exercises, interval training, and burpees!

Strength Training Exercises

This is how interval training works. Try to exercise for 20 seconds making sure you push yourself as hard as you are able. Then you take a short break for 10 seconds but you keep moving. You then can repeat this pattern for up to 30 minutes.

How to do a burpee: start in a standing position. Squat down with your hands in front of you on the ground. You then jump back so that you end up in a push-up position and you do one push-up. Now jump forward and leap upwards. You want to reach your hands up as high as possible. Start with doing a couple and then just keeping adding each time until you can do as many as you are able in a short amount of time.
